FABRICARE® HIGH PERFORMANCE INDOOR FABRICS
FABRICARE®- INDOOR FABRICS - 3 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
D'Decor Home Store LLP ("D'Decor") is hereby extending a 3 (Three) years limited warranty ("Warranty") for the brand FabriCare® - Indoor Fabrics ("Fabric"), making the Fabric, the only performance fabric brand warranting against the Fabric becoming unserviceable due to:
Manufacturing defects including:
- Loss of strength (seam slippage)
- Loss of colour
- Liquid barrier / Common Stain (the details of which are set out in Annexure I)
- Shrinkage of Fabric (less than 3%)
- Abrasion
- Pilling
on account of / arising from normal usage.
This Warranty constitutes D'decor®’s only warranty related to the Fabric. There are no other warranties, either express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
In the rare instances where the Fabric does not meet the performance outlined above, as a part of the said Warranty, D'decor® shall supply the same Fabric (or an equivalent Fabric if the original Fabric is no longer available, which decision will be at the sole discretion of D'Decor) to replace the Fabric that has become unserviceable. D'decor® will, however, not bear any labour cost or installation charges.
Replacement of Fabric shall be done only from the retailer from where Fabric was originally purchased and not by any other tailor or any other retailer dealing in the Fabric.
The Warranty does not cover damage from:
- Misuse, abuse, tampering or negligence
- Mishandling
- Not following proper washing or cleaning instructions
- Stains that have occurred over an extended period of time or due to negligence
- Difficult stains the details of which are set out under Annexure I
- Excessive exposure to outdoor conditions such as sunlight, rain, floods, cyclone, heat wave or other similar incidents
- Improper installation or costs associated with replacement of the Fabric, including labour and installation
The customer shall take due and necessary care of the Fabric including as per the instructions provided in the instructions manual and in ordinary prudence.
The Warranty is not applicable in any of the following cases:
- Defect / damage arising on account of excessive washing / cleaning of the Fabric or Fabric not being washed / cleaned in accordance with the instruction manual as determined by D'decor®.
- The Fabric is damaged due to lack of cleaning, improper cleaning, misuse of cleaning agents / materials or application of cleaning material / agents such as Scotch Guard or any other similar agents / materials.
- Any defect in / damage to the Fabric after a period of 3 (Three) years from the date of purchase.
- If any defect in / damage to the Fabric is notified to D'decor® after a period of 7 (Seven) days from the occurrence of such defect / damage.
- If the products on which the Fabric is fitted / installed is shifted from its original location at the time of purchase / time of installation to a new location without prior intimation of at least 2 (Two) days to D'decor® or to the retailer from where the Fabric was purchased.
The Warranty applies only to the original purchaser. Proof of purchase is a pre-requisite to claim Warranty. D'decor® reserves the right to inspect any Fabric submitted for claim.
In the event, D'decor® carries out replacement of the Fabric during the original Warranty period of 3 (Three) years, the warranty shall thereafter continue only for the unexpired period of the original Warranty commencing from the date of replacement. No fresh period of 3 (Three) years of warranty shall commence from the date of such replacement. For eg: If damage to the Fabric is notified on 20/05/2024 for a purchase done on 20/05/2023 and the Fabric was replaced on 22/05/2024, then the period of warranty for the replaced Fabric shall be 2 (Two) years starting from 22/05/2024.
Upon any defect in / damage to the Fabric, the customer shall immediately, and not later than 7 (Seven) working days from the date the customer becomes aware of the defect in / damage to the Fabric, report the defect / damage to customer care department by calling on 022 6678 2081 or writing to customercare.fabricare@ddecor.com directly, or, through the retailer from whom the Fabric was purchased. At the time of reporting the defect / damage, the customer should submit clear and visible pictures of the defect / damage to the Fabric and also submit the copy of the invoice of purchase of the Fabric. Original invoice of purchase shall be couriered to D'decor®.
The customers claiming the Warranty shall submit a form to D'Decor, a copy of which will be provided by D'Decor. The customer will have to provide details such as their name, contact details, details of purchase of the Fabric, details of the damage to the Fabric etc.
Upon receipt of the report of defect / damage and the information mentioned above, D'decor® will verify and evaluate the claim made by the customer. In the event that the defect / damage is not clearly visible on the images, D'decor® may request for the defective / damaged Fabric to be inspected at the customer’s location, where the Fabric is installed or is being used.
If the claim is approved by D'decor®, D'decor® will supply same fabric (or an equivalent fabric if the original Fabric is no longer available, which decision will be at the sole discretion of D'Decor) to replace the Fabric that has become unserviceable in accordance with these Warranty terms.

FABRICARE® HIGH PERFORMANCE WASHABLE AND BLACKOUT CURTAIN FABRICS
FABRICARE®- CURTAIN FABRICS - 3 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
D'Decor Home Store LLP ("D'Decor") is hereby extending a 3 (Three) years limited warranty ("Warranty") for the brand FabriCare® - Curtain Fabrics ("Fabric"), making the Fabric, the only performance fabric brand warranting against the Fabric becoming unserviceable due to:
Manufacturing defects including:
- Loss of strength (seam slippage)
- Loss of colour
- Shrinkage of Fabric (less than 3%)
- Wash care in home laundry (a maximum limit of 10 washes at 40 degrees)
- Abrasion
- Pilling
on account of / arising from normal usage.
This Warranty constitutes D'decor's® only warranty related to the Fabric. There are no other warranties, either express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
In the rare instances where the Fabric does not meet the performance outlined above, as a part of the said Warranty, D'decor® shall supply the same Fabric (or an equivalent Fabric if the original Fabric is no longer available, which decision will be at the sole discretion of D'Decor) to replace the Fabric that has become unserviceable. D'decor® will, however, not bear any labour cost or installation charges.

- Improper installation or costs associated with replacement of the Fabric, including labour and installation
The customer shall take due and necessary care of the Fabric including as per the instructions provided in the instructions manual and in ordinary prudence.

Certain clothing dyes (such as those used on denim wear) may transfer/migrate to the Fabric and cause permanent damage. Such type of contaminant stain/damage is not covered by the Warranty.

The liability of D'decor® for any and all claims in relation to any damage to, or defect or deficiency in, the Fabric shall not exceed the price paid by the customer for the said Fabric. This Warranty shall not extend towards the payment of any compensation and expressly excludes any claim for consequential or incidental loss or damage including loss of profits, labour costs, other materials and installation costs.
Any disputes with the customers shall be subject to jurisdiction of courts of Mumbai.
